Happy Holidays! 2022 has been one of our most rewarding, as we cap nine consecutive years of +40% annual growth. I could not be more proud of the CarltonOne team and our partners.
We have spent this year reinvesting in our people and technologies to build a next generation global ecommerce loyalty, recognition and incentive ecosystem. This will enable our core clients to expand their global distribution and open new markets to their customers everywhere. We welcomed a significant number of new clients in the US, Canada, LATAM, EMEA and APAC, and together with our major PaaS investments we are well positioned to continue our growth as we greet 2023.
Here are just a few of this year's many milestones:
- Throughout the year we invested in our marketing team and launched a series of monthly on sale campaigns that we will be expanding globally in 2023.
- In June, we were recognized as one of the top 50 most inspiring workplaces in North America, winning at the 8th annual North American Inspiring Workplaces awards.
- In July, we opened our Partner Knowledge Centre with product resources, training materials, Release Notes and our App Marketplace.
- We released frequent updates to our platforms, including extensive accessibility enhancements and expanded internationalization capabilities.
- In August, we unveiled a fun pack of HTML 5 games to boost member engagement and entertainment.
- In September, we were one of the Top 50 winners in the 2022 Real Leaders Eco Innovation Awards, for our Evergrow eco-action program.
- To help ensure the safety of our vendors and members, we continue to pause all merchandise and digital reward transactions in Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
We're funding 1 million trees this holiday season.
In 2022 we also accelerated our eco-action commitment to fight climate change, with every merchandise transaction on our platforms creating funding for tree planting. We have already funded over 15 million trees and mangroves across Madagascar, Nepal, Kenya, Indonesia, Honduras and Mozambique. Today, as a thank you to our clients, partners and CarltonOne employees, we're funding 1 million additional trees with Eden Reforestation Projects. As we add more clients, more transactions and new ways to turn member actions into eco-action, we'll grow this funding towards our goal of planting 100 million trees a year by the end of 2024.
